Just found this on Craigslist, some look a little worn down but at least they aren't very expensive.

OK I have a dumb question but I'd like to know.  My reference is the three stacks of ag style tractor tires.

How do you wear them completely off on one side and the other half still has decent tread?   The wheel/tire combo must have set at an angle or something strange like that.  Just look closely at the shadow pattern in the pic.   One side of nearly every one of those tires doesn't have enough tread sticking up to make a shadow where-as the other half of the tire does.

Could someone attach the picture so it can still be seen after the ad expires?

Gtractor, it may just be the sun is just right that some lugs won't show a shadow.

The sun is shining in at exactly the same angle as the lug.  There is a shadow on those lugs, it's just at the thin end instead of across the wide side.

Those prices sound pretty good if the tires aren't dry rotted or the beads messed up.  I'm a big fan of the All-Trails.  I'd be all over those if they were local.

Ahhh,   guess it was too early in the morning to think about sun angle.  I blew the pics up to 400% of original size and the shadows sure made one side look slick.   Looking again I do see one that is nearly slick in the middle like it was run overinflated.  Most still have decent tread.

  Thanks Guys!!

I wouldn't mind having a couple of pairs myself.
