:welcome:ibikeLa. I don't think you can buy plans to build a garden tractor!!! But I think you might be able to find some ideas on a custom build here. It would be like asking for plans to build a Chevy or Ford.

Welcome!

As stated above I dont think there any plans but there are a couple members that have built their own tractors here.

What size tractor do you plan on building?
Garden tractor size or Big Tractor size?

Welcome to GTTALK. There are several guys on here that have modified garden tractors to suit their needs, and currently there is a thread that shows a ground up build of a homemade GT, but the general process is: These guys collect stuff for years & when the pile is big enough, they begin to figure how to bolt, weld, bend & modify the pieces into a working GT. Best Thing I can tell you is to look around the site & take note of ideas you like, and things you don't. Then take lots of pictures of your build and post them here. If you have questions, please ask. Good luck on your adventure.

 IbikeLa Welcome to GTTalk!
I agree with what awol said. A custom build would likely be the way to go. Another idea is to buy one and modify it to meet your needs. Just my $.02! We hope that the forum will be an enjoyable place for you to glean some good ideas and share them!
