RE: High priced mowers - $500 (South Suburbs)

What is with all you people trying sell Craftsman, MTD, John Deere and Ariens riding mowers for double what they are worth? Most of them are junk and the ones that are decent are within a few hundred dollars of what you can buy them for new with a warranty. Get real on your prices and it might not show your desperation so much if you at least had some winter time pictures instead of the pictures you have been trying to use for the last year to sell your over priced junk. After trying since October to buy a rider at a fair price I am just going to go to Home Depot and buy new for $1,000 with a 2 year warranty.

GO AHEAD AND BUY ONE FROM RETAILER .THEN YOU CAN JOIN THE RANKS OF DISSATISIFIED OWNERS WHEN THE ENGINE AND/OR TRANNY FAILS AND YOU TRY TO GET WARRANTY SERVICE FROM RETAILER THAT DOES NOT HAVE ANYONE TO SERVICE THE PIECE OF CRAP .

Cheap riding mowers and Lawn tractors - $275 (maplewood)

If you are looking at buying mowers on Craigslist then you are no doubt willing to pay way more than what it is worth so come to me first and I'll only charge you double what it's worth rather than the 3 to 4 times what it's worth that these others sellers are asking. I have about a dozen mowers in various conditions all the way from non running junkers to almost new and the best part is that during my special sale you'll never pay more than double the true value. This is a real deal for Craigslist. One other thing.......when coming over to buy from me you will need to bend over and walk backwards up the driveway. Don't wait - get here early for the best selection and bring cash as the condition of some of these bad boys would dictate that it wouldn't be good business to take a check. See you soon.

Happy Valentines Day!

The first ad (we shall call him the 'whiner') reads a bit long and confusing. I think the whiner meant to say:

'Looking to buy a real garden tractor for dirt cheap. If I don't get a slamming deal, then I'm going to buy a cheap plastic lawn tractor and be done with it.'

The second ad was sent from someone on here, I think.

The third guy (the 'salesman') apparently doesn't see the need to put up with any crud from the whiner.

But I paid $300 for it 10 years ago and beat it to death all the time I owned it so I'am only asking $800 for it.
BTY it need a battery and tires and the engine has the rod sticking out the side.Should be an easy fix.

NO LOW BALLERS

They are still going..........

Riding Mower Maniacs have invaded Craigslist - $125 (Maplewood)

Most of these sellers are in love with their equipment and think it is worth 2 to 4 times the actual value. Don't get screwed by one of these parasites, go to the Big box and get a mower with 4 times the quality for only a few hundred bucks more.

Rip Off Bonanza on riding mowers & Lawn tractors - $200 (South St Paul)

How would you like to experience a royal rip off? If that sounds good just buy one of the over priced junked out riding mowers or lawn tractors from most of these sellers.

Want a pleasant surprise? Go to the Big Box and see how much better of a mower you can get for not that much more money.....not to mention the warranty for 2 years.
