yes it is always better to plant once vs twice we have seen that happen up here the last few years too. Some guys trying to get a jump start on the neighborhood , then they end up with either a poor stand or replanting.
I agree.

I can't stay here long this morning. If you want to see why, look in the garden tractor forum. I made a post titled "Here's What Came in the Shop Today and What Are These Parts". Talk to you all later.

Gabriel, thanks for posting those pics. Kind of funny to me to see the 165 in the role of smallest on your farm, as when I was young the 165 was a pretty big tractor, bigger than anything we had. In fact, Dad's second round of tractor buying ended up with a 165? probably 265 as our big tractor and a 240 as our small tractor. After we put a lot of hours on that one, he went even bigger with a 375 that looked a lot like that 383.

Gabriel
nice looking fleet of I remember those 165s they were a nice size tractor in its day. Dad once looked at a 1130 Massy back in the early 80s that was a nice lookin tractor too. I will start digging up some pics of our operation soon.
Thanks! We've owned the 165 for 3 years and it's been a great little tractor(all of our Masseys have been good). I told a bit more about it in my post titled "Any One Here Farm With Masseys". Its in the Ag tractors section. I look forward to your pictures!
Are you working on any new GT projects?

I like the fully mounted plow, bet the front end gets a little light , but way cool.

My winters project is bringing a IH built 782 back to life...in the process of gathering accessories, for it . Ordered tires last month, got rear lift, and a few other parts and pieces. Will test run this spring in the plow field then tear down for a repaint etc...

Amazingly, it doesn't seem to light in the front.
