Woke up this morning to 6-7 inches of snow. They were calling for 1-3 for my area. Lot of drifting too. Anybody else get hit hard with this storm?

We had around 15" in my area by noon yesterday. It didn't do much after that since it changed over to sleet and rain. Maybe another 1/2" or so. They say we're getting 2 to 5 more tonight.

13" yesterday during the morning and early afternoon then another 7-8" in the evening to overnight.  It was extremely wet and heavy so even with the wind it didn't drift a whole lot.

Rain for us mostly and a lot of it. We were on the south side of the storm and got the south winds and high temps.

Had about 14" with a little bit of sleet, another 3" and drifts. 4" more for tonight and tomorrow. Right now the snow-plow is MIA under a few feet of snow, haven't seen the ground for a few weeks. Been having the neighbors do it for us. State and township is bringing out the big guns for Snowmageddeon as some call it.

We have had a lot of snow this winter , about 20" in a little over a week but I was amazied yesterday when I was driving on a state highway you know the ones with wide shoulders , people where shoveling their driveways by hand ! Near the street the snow was about 3' high mounded back at least 12' from the plows and I'm sure was like block of ice ! I know if I would have waited that long before using my gt to plow I wouldn't be able , you just can't wait that long

It get a bit tiring. Like Al, I can't wait til the storm is over to start moving snow. The little tractor can only push so much at a time. So it is 2 or 3 times a storm to plow. Now the boss man, he's got a farm tractor with a loader to move snow. But he did admit to digging it out by hand several times because he waited to long. My drive looks twice as good as his because of waiting to long. :smilewink:

Look closely at the pictures and video.  You'll see an awful lot of NJ tags.

I'm just sayin'....

Hey !! I resemble that !!

I just finished a job in Ambler, Pa Tuesday. If I was still working there, I most likely would have been seeing that mess on the eastbound side from the west bound side. It was the route I took to the job, around that time.
