The museum said the cars are a 1993 ZR-1 Spyder and 2009 ZR1 "Blue Devil" on loan from General Motors; a 1962 Black Corvette; 1984 PPG Pace Car; 1992 White 1 Millionth Corvette; 1993 Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Corvette; 2001 Mallett Hammer Z06 Corvette and a 2009 White 1.5 Millionth Corvette.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the first three cars listed are the ones visible in the drone video. The '09 looks fine from here.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Corvettes, having owned a 1960, and 1963 convertable with a hard top, when I was much younger. A shame to see those tumble into the hole. I am sure they will extricte them as carefully as possible and they will be repaired in record time. Always wanted to stop there and look at those that are there. Hope they can rebuild the musuem there after all this is said and done.        Roger.

Always meant to visit the museum but never have.  Now I don't think I want to pull into their parking lot!  Kinda makes ya wonder about that section of  Interstate 65!

At least it was vettes and not mustangs!

You won't have to worry about that, they would be hard pressed to find 8 Rustangs worth putting in a museum  :poke:  :bigrofl:

Seriously though, Ford, Mopar, GM, etc sad to see some nice cars of any make destroyed like that.

I agree with Daniel, what more is underlying under the rest of the mueseum, I65 and the factory is across the interstate.

The only one I am concerned about is the 62.  Anything after say...1968 is ugly.

I actually owned a baby poop brown 1992.  I bought it from a guy who looked like he had a wrestling match inside the car, everything was tore off, cracked, busted, and the seats looked like they were attacked by Edward Scissorhands!  The car was painted once, it was a terrible paint job, had a crap load of scratches, scuffs, and fish eyes.  It had the LT1 in it with an Auto.  Ran pretty strong.  I bought the car for the engine.  I was going to drop it into a Chevy truck.

I ended up tearing the interior out, repaired the dash and console back to decent.  Pulled the seats, and all the carpets.  Rhino lined where the carpet was, put in a seat of ebay racing seats.  Sanded down the horrible paint job, and had a buddy spray it flat black.  Drove it a half dozen times, put it up on craigslist.  I was into the car for about a grand, and sold it for 1,500 to the first kid you stopped by.

We passed by there today, expected to see all kinds of activity, but nothing. Tours were even going today.
