You're not gonna pilot any more Chris?

I wouldn't go that far. :D  My Son still rebuilds airplanes and I have friends with planes that like company on occasion.  Still kind of fun to wiggle the stick and kick the pedals just not in my own plane anymore.

I'm a " feet on the ground" kind of guy, but the wife has a ride in a glider on her bucket list. She also has wanted an ultra-lite for years, but I talked her into getting the miniature horses instead, thought it was safer for her. Still don't know if I won that one, 'cause she really wanted those horses anyway, lol.

500 hours in ultralights with nothing more than a skinned shin. Horses liked to kill me on more than one occasion. I would at least let her get a ride in one. My mother went up when she was almost 80 and loved every minute of it and my father wouldn't even set in one.

No way you are going to get this big boy up in the air strapped to a kite. A plane is a different story - although I am too heavy to fly in teh plane OB went up in. They had a 270 lb weight limit. I miss by 8 pounds.
