That's something that never ceases to amaze me.  It seems every snow storm we have here, a large portion of the driver's have to relearn how to drive in snow--often via the school of hard knocks and tow trucks...

Some of the worst offenders are guys in a jacked up, pimped-out 4-wheel drive.  Somehow they equate the better driving traction with better stopping ability... but as Spock used to say, it isn't logical...

Smitty

Dude, you get used to that. We have snow 6 months a year, and the maroons still can't figure it out.

I still drive a 2 wheel drive van on all season tires, I get stuck occasionally, but I've never ended up in a ditch, or upside down, or in some ones back seat.

And you are absolutely correct. It's usually the guy in a pimped out Rig Rocket, or his wife in a caddy SUV that you see upside down in the ditch or piled up in the back of a bus or semi.

NO expert advice but........think you are being kinda Wussy! What is that, maybe 1"?   Like someone else noted in a post, WE don't even Notice a 1" dusting around us.  :shoot2: :D .    I like the way Georgia gets that big Ice dump, but does anyone Stay Home???  Nope, gotta try to get out and drive in it. Guess they didn't learn lesson from first time last week. Guess the World is gonna have to "learn up" and figure out how to live in this stuff from now on. Climate changes are really gonna be happening more in future. Can you see the "Exidus" (sic) of US citizens moving to Mexico as it gets too cold here and better water and growing down there?  Could happen!  It is said Earth has changed it's poles a few times over it's life. Maybe moving that way again?
