We're looking at one foot of snow today in VA if the weather predictions hold true. Some places even say 16 inches.

The ol' Farmall Super A is ready to go, the Gravely is ready, and I'm really excited.  :rolling:

Ya'll stay safe out there in the white stuff.

Weatherman says 8 to 14 in my area. I say if it's gonna be this darn cold it may as well snow too. Bring it on.

It looks like we are going to be on the edge of the storm here, some snow, topped off with ice from what they are saying.  We missed everything yesterday also, it all passed to our south.  However, school has been cancelled today, after letting out early yesterday for another non-event.

Woke up this morning to -5*. As said above, weather forecast is 8"-14" here in Lancaster County, PA. The generator and tractor are gassed and ready to go, but I think I'm going to take the blade off the tractor tonight, and mount the snowthrower. Being how we are in town, and the past 8" of snow that fell last week didn't melt at all, I don't have a lot of room to push the snow anymore. The borough didn't do me any favors either by not plowing the streets real well, so there is still a lot of hard snow and ice left on the streets. I already broke the plow adjustment pin three times within the past two snowfalls, and I really can't afford to break another.

This should be a very interesting event. One thing for sure, the neighbors that can't seem to talk to me or wave Hi to me during the year, will all of a sudden want to be new friends as soon as I start up the tractor. I don't like to see people struggle, but my cycle will not change, as I take care of my elderly neighbors first, then our property, and then if I'm still warm enough, I help anybody else that needs or wants the help.

Hope everybody that will be effected by the storm, stays safe and warm, and we all can check back in after the fact.

Take Care Guys!

I got about 4 inches of snow yesterday.....still on the ground but not in the roads except in the shady areas. Below freezing so there are ice patches.

Expecting mostly sleet and rain today.

No seat time this time, but amazing that we have had almost 11" of snow in the past 3 weeks.....that never happens in eastern NC!!

Take care and be safe out there!

We are supposed to get like 5 more inches tonight and tomorrow.

We still have at least 10 on the ground in most places where the little sun that we get hasn't melted yet.

I just looked at the extended forecast By Wednesday we are supposed to be in the 50s!  Then 67 on Friday!  I am honestly a bit

I am right in that circled area.  If it just pushes a bit more east I will be golden.

We are getting freezing rain which is supposed to change over to snow later on.  They are predicting .25 " for my area and up to 1" for areas to the south east.  This weather is crazy!  An 1" of ice in GA, I can not remember ever having that much ice.  Plus North east is supposed to get from 9" to a foot of snow.
