OK if labeled as a Tec then it dates to the mid 60's as Tec took over Lauson and continued to build some of the Lauson models, the V60 was one they continued building for
a period of time.

We are home this weekend so I will do a little more research and see if we can narrow it down a bit further.

I enjoyed your video Brad.
The little tractor looks to be in really good condition.
I have seen other small tractors in that same size range but the the only one that I can remember by name was called a Mustang.

Hello, new member from Salem, Oregon here.  I know this is an old thread, but I'm hoping some of the people in it are still around.

I have an almost identical mower to this one.  Even has the same steering wheel.  The metal seat on mine has/had thin black cushions on the back  and bottom (still not too comfy...)

Mine is not a "Ride Magic".  Mine was sold via "Coast to Coast" hardware stores, I found a coast to coast emblem on the hood under the paint, and a long black strip down the hood.  I am missing the front grille and the data plate.

Mine has a Briggs motor, 5hp, if I remember correctly.  I bought it from my brother back in the early 1980's. and he bought it from my sister.  Neither of them has any info on it as it was purchased used by my sister.

It appears to have been either white and black or yellow and black originally.

I have held onto it all these years because I thought it was kind of neat and something from my childhood.  I had a new steering gear put on and a tune up done at a shop when I was stationed at Ft Lewis in the mid '90s.  I bought a new gas tank or it about 10 years ago.  I haven't started it in several years, but when I did it still ran pretty good for it's age (I believe it's a '68, but not sure...)

I would appreciate any info or help anyone could provide properly identifying it.  I've been trying to find the correct model number but have had no luck.  From what I understand, the last 3 numbers would be either 054, 055, or 754 for Coast to Coast.

Also, here are the numbers off the engine.  130902 0135-01

I found the parts list I had downloaded for it several years ago, and confirmed it is a 5 HP.

Thanks,

Clint
