Hi all, goes anyone have any onan parts from a fudged motor kicking around that they may be interested in selling? i have a 20hp mid 90s motor and i require a ignition module and the ring, and also the outside flywheel cover, might be interested in other parts also, i got this motor from the po with the flywheel off, he said it was good but we will see once we fire it up, i would need these parts shipped to niagara falls usa but that and payment can be worked out later. i think the onan 16hp and up motors all use the same parts thanks for looking

I don't have anything Onan related here.  Contact onanparts.com and see if he does.  He is going to want a model number.

There are differences in flywheels, so you'll need to be more specific about your model & code off your engine.  That or a pic of the current flywheel.

You might check with each of the site sponsors. They all would have different stock.
For instance, BHTS may have some Onan parts in an old Sears over there. You never know.

I just went trough this lesson with the onan engines. Onan used these engines in several different applications so be advised. THEY DO NOT ALL INTERCHANGE!!!!  You WILL find that the onan engines do have some parts that are useable on others but they do not all interchange such as the stators flywheels starters crankshafts etc etc---there are several options and you find this stuff out once you try interchanging parts. My SUGGESTION  is to find a parts manual for the actual engine you have and find original parts otherwise you could be spending money on stuff that is useless to you

And he doesn't know just a little about Onans, he's kinda religious about them. Very helpful guy.

Right you are.   Many of these guys won't even talk business unless you can give some model info right off hand.  That's because guessing never gets anyone anywhere.
