Ok everyone I got a question for ya. Does anyone have any idea what model cub cadets that might have a high compression head on it? From what I read they came on some of the earlier 10hp kohlers. i finally got workin on my 100s' and i decided that i'm not gonna be happy with it untill i get the motor rebuilt. I've got a few other cubs i picked up for parts and was wondering if the 102 might have a high compression head on it. i know the only way to find out is by taking it off and looking at the botton of it.Just currious if anyone in here might know know off the top of there head which models mighthave come with it. thanks for everyones help.

You might look around on Brian Miller's website. It's chock full of info on Kohlers.

I just took a look at "Brian Millers" site, there's all kinds of engine stuff in there, mostly Kohler.
IMO this needs to be a sticky in the "Mechanical forum".
