I had fun today & yesterday the darn things came back. I have box gutters & along with the most recent ice storm we had the ice is backing up in the gutters. To get to the side door of the house you don't want to look up but run quietly to get inside & DON'T SLAM THE DOOR. I had ice cycles as long as three feet & big hanging just waiting to drop. I took my sons BB rifle & shot most of them down. Some of them took several shots. I had to strategically work the shots around the massive base to drop them. It looked like chunks of glass all over the side walk way. Maybe after church tomorrow I can go target shooting again.  :shoot2:

That sound like fun but it also sound dangerous.  Those BB's bounce well.  I was shooting cans one time and felt something hit my arm.  A BB bounced back from 20 foot and tapped me on the elbow before it fell to the ground.  It was a freak thing, but I made sure I was wearing safety glasses after that.

I tried throwing snow-balls at ice-sickles above our door a few weeks ago.

It was about 20' up and I was about 20' away from the house.

I threw about 8 snow balls and never hit the ice, but my shoulder sure hurt....Must have been 30 years since I threw a ball!
