Did you get it running?

Went up to Mom and Dad's yesterday afternoon. I wanted to clear the drive and was surprised by what they had gotten vs what we got.
Ended up froze thru dealing with the snow so no time to work on it.

Maybe next weekend?

Well, after a good Cab-b-Que in Lemon Juice and then a baking powder rinse, we put the carb back on and turned on the gas.

Pull number 3 produced this:

Parts so far:
$12 carb kit
$2 bottle of lemon juice
$7 sauce pan at the dollar store

The engine has all kinds of potential. We will see how it runs for more than a few minutes when it isn't so cold.

Great. Sounds good too. Except for that noise at the :53 mark. What the heck was that?

Beans?

This was a good score for you.

Congrats on a great find! I've picked up a number of deals while on service calls but as much as I've tried I've yet to score a GT although I did pick up a rear tine tiller at good price once.

I was up at my parents tonight and Loran wanted to go outside and do something. It was cold. Tried to talk her out of it, but no go... So the veggie scraps needed dumped on the compost pile and the papers needed burnt.

Decided to try the Custom 7. Even at 10f, she started on the 4th pull. Very pleased with that.
Loran helped me steer and do the little chores. We used the dump cart to carry all the stuff.
Her little checks were getting red, but she still didnt want to go in. Eventually, I put the tractor away and we walked in.

Good time, nice little tractor.

Loran (we call her squirt) and I went for a ride. She is getting to enjoy the cart.
I did get stuck once, but it wasn't a big deal as I could just about array the whole thing if I had to.

Squirt got a face full of snow when the tire spun once. I had to laugh. She thought it was funny too.
