A few others on here do the trains. Some in bigger scales even. There has been many postings about model buildings especially with pix of the process and finished project. Check some of the lower topic spots for those. Maybe a search will work?  I used to play with trains when younger, but lost interest. Thought a neat large scale like O or such would be neat to just build one for on a shelf, not the whole lay-out.  There is also a link on here for a HUGE lay-out of trains and the coolest airport ever in Germany. Guess it is on U-tube or ?  Quite a long video, but cool as heck, with planes that take off and land and all!   Maybe some other guys here can re-link that for us. There are trains on other side of wall in same building.

Love the trains too. I have a problem though the GT hobby I recently got involved in has taken most of my thoughts even during bad weather. :D

Still have all of our stuff. At one point we had a decent sized layout, I think it was 12ft by 6ft but it was in an L shaped pattern.

That's a nice layout. Is that an Alcohol distillery in the foreground!  I had trains when a boy and my FIL had a largish layout. The problem for me has always been the space required for a decent sized layout, even in HO scale.
