Congratulations!! What's that quote about babies being such a wonderful way to start people?

The brightest part of my day is coming home(after a long day at the office) and being greeted by my always smiling, 9 month old Great Granduaghter Adrianna.

And we are expecting here brother to arrive some time in April.

Kassie, our first grandchild, came when I was in my mid 40s... it was a bit of a downer for 2 or 3 months--not that she'd been born, but that I was old enough to be a grandfather. Basically my midlife crisis, I guess.
But, she's grown into a beautiful younglady that loves music. 
In fact we play together in a community band--it's really brought us together...

True...unfortunately I just sold my JD420. BUT, my HT23 is white and green--and I could paint my Dayton or Case 444 or CC1862 or LGT165 green..... Naw!!! I'll just have to find him one.

Congratulations Smitty to you & the family. I have four grandsons myself & it brings the good things full circle for everyone. It took me awhile to adjust with my first one too. One of the biggest blessings I saw was how fast our two daughters & SIL's adjusted to having their own families & doing the things we taught them with their own kids. It sure makes a grandparent proud doesn't it.
