hi guys, looks like i will be getting some seat time later today, they are calling for 12-18 inches, i was expecting to see it this morning but i guess the storm took a detour getting here, when i woke up we only had about 4 inches, but its coming down pretty good now and off the lake with high winds which is not a good sign. we have had so much freezing rain the city is out of salt and sand and the roads have ice on them which make it lovely to drive on, too bad studded tires are illegal here, happy plowing farmer john

Yes, be careful !

We are covered in ice this morning. My lab was chasing coyotes (usually all for show, always stops well short with lots of barking) but today he slipped on the ravine behind the house took quite a tumble...Got him in pampering him. Really praying he didn't permanently mess up his hips. Just getting ready for regular morning chores now that he's settled in the house.

Everybody please be careful, we don't fair as well as dogs and they have built in studs for traction.

they say this storm came up from texas, and ruined a lot of peoples days on the way here, i just wish you guys would keep your crappy weather down there, we have enough of our own. ha ha ha!!!! you make a good point about your pets, i might be a good idea to keep them restrained when its so icy, i have 3 dogs, well only one of them is a dog, my golden retriever. the dashund and the shutsui are ????? im at a lack of a proper responce, if you know what i mean. but the are funny when the snows light and 2 feet deep ha ha ha!!! i can never tell where they are.

Yes, it did!  Funny what 100 miles can do when a storm floats this way or that.
