It's a pretty common story all over North america this winter. We keep getting snow then rain. Butt freezing cold and then mild like today when it's about 45F. Wednesday -more snow from another storm 8" or so. Lots of seat time keeping the driveway clear. This is the coldest time of the year here. I'm not sure but that may be the case in other places too. The longer days are starting to get noticeable now and the extra light is welcome!

Brian, at least the clock isn't melting on the work bench.

That was yours, wasn't it?

I'd like to see it stay either cold or warm too--- the extreme  swings are hard on everything, from wildlife to machinery. Today it went from -27C to -12C, cloudy with a nasty breeze. Normally we'd be out ice fishing with temps. like that, but the three feet of snow on the level has kind of put a damper on that activity. I must be getting old!! lol.

Been some pretty big temp swings this year. This polar vortex thing.
I wish Will would get that thing anchored properly, it's causing all kinds of havoc.

Yup, yesterday afternoon felt like spring. 12 hours later, snowing like crazy.
