Nascar hasn't been the same since they did the "chase" routine.  There's no real fun in it anymore.

Ben W.

Well Ben they changed the chase format agin this year. Now it comes down to a winner takes all between the the top 5 I believe. It is a little confusing but I think it will afford some better racing less sandbaging and a little more intense driving in the last 10 races.  As for the Super Bowl this will be the first year I will watch it from start to finish unless it is a blowout and the parts for the jacobsen will be dry enough to put it back together.   Thanks. Roger.

Not going to watch it here!

Only sport I watch on a consistent basis is Hockey, the rest of them I could care less.

You must mean you "couldn't care less".   If you could care less, that means you care some.  Me, I couldn't care any less.  Nothing against those who love football....just not my thing.

The wife is making snacks, and I plan on quitting mudding and getting cleaned up by 5:15 at the latest.

NASCAR sure is different now for sure.

I think the best era for watching NASCAR was when the factories were all actively supporting them.

Back then a Ford was a Ford, a Dodge was a Dodge, and a Chevy was a Chevy.  Not the "they all look alike" cars that they run now

You're right on that too.  I am old enough to remember locals around here choosing a team because of the car make, not the driver.  You gotta have your priorities straight.

I guess I'll be a minority here I will be watching the Super bowl & loving it. GO DENVER! I'm also a NASCAR fan as well, I agree it's not as good as it use to be but is anything as good as it use to be?

I don't like sports. I watch the Super bowl sometimes. Once every couple years. Usually not the whole game maybe 10 minutes. I could care less about the 2 teams playing today. If it was the steelers I might watch a bit of it.

I'm going to make a big effort, to watch the commercials, if they're

not metric, and I will certainly make sure I miss the half time thing.

Bruno Mars...come on...

There's something not right about the current "Pop" stars, that sing about

puppy dogs, rainbows, and feelings.

Nascar got boring when restrictor plates came in and speeds stopped climbing.   Then the japanese cars got into it......I'll stop there.

I am saving my energy to watch the last four shows of Jay Leno . After that I will just have memories of Johnny Carson doing real entertainment .  He would sometimes let the band play on .
