What are you going to do to celebrate?

Me, I think I will go out and clear off a few more driveways with the gt and snow blade after church, and tonight watch some football on tv. No big super bowl party planned here, but I might fire up the gril for some hamburgers.

Taping and mudding sheetrock before and after church. Run to the lumberyard, I'm short on metal corner bead and nails. Might watch some tv tonight if the wife makes me.

Got a couple more inches of snow last night. Going to get the Homelite with plow out and clean up a bit and then get ready for the game later tonight. Have a good day and remember, ..... Groundhog is great grilled too !    Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha !!      Come on spring.           Roger.

I used to live just on the other side of the hill from Gobblers Knob and I have never been there on Groundhogs day.Now I am about 10 miles away. They did clear all the snow from town in preparation.

A groundhog's body temperature can drop to 38 degrees during hibernation and the heart beat is 4 beats per minute and one breath every 6 minutes. This information and 50 cents will get you a senior discount coffee at McDonald's.

I didn't realize Groundhog Day was a day to celebrate!

In 2014, spring begins with the vernal equinox on March 20 at 12:57 P.M. EDT

Anything can happen between now and then....or even after the 20th!

Several years ago, the biggest snow of the season came on the 1st day of spring!

I am going sit in my shop with my rifle and see if the groundhog sticks his head out of the burn pile.

I don't see the difference between a groundhog clucking and chittering in the wild and and so called news people doing the same .

Need good beer and good snacks on a day like this .
