I just heard back from the guy. He milks cows from 5:30 - 11 at night and we don't get home from work till 5:30 so we are going to pick it up on Saturday morning.

The 446 I bought several years ago had a badly blown engine (non rebuildable), but came with deck, 3pt, & rear tiller, plus an extra diff & hyd motor. I paid $500. It was around a 76 model. I did good on that one & this one is a good deal also. My friend who talked me out of mine wants to sell it. I'll see what he wants for it. Maybe one of you guys could drive down & get it. It runs still, but needs attention.

George, I hope you can still get a little sleep this week even with all the excitement of the new 'baby' in the family! Have a safe trip and we would expect a full report on your newest find.

Understand that "no sleep" comment for sure. Every time I get a new toy, sleep is nearly impossible! Partly because of the new toy, and the rest because I spent more that I couldn't afford to! In the end, it's always been a good investment, both financially & for the therapy value. :smilewink:

You are right Dan, there are times when the "therapy value" of a new or existing project/toy is priceless.
