I refuse to let anyone touch the wheels/tires on my dually after 2 separate tire shops didn't torque the lugs properly and they loosened up in a few miles. I caught them before there was any damage but it's just inexcusable. I've never had an issue when I torque them myself so it can't be that hard!

One place tightened the lug nuts on one of my vehicles so tight that they warped the brake rotors. That is just plain crazy. Their excuse was that 97 years ago someone had an alloy wheel fall off.  :wallbanging:

Seriously, they had so many complaints that they went back to the torque sockets and everything is fine now.
