Hey all, this is my first post here. I'm looking for a 604 to restore. My grandfather bought one new with a plow in '64. When he passed my father inherited it and I used it as a boy growing up. Sounds odd but it is a big part of my childhood. I when my folks divorced it had to go. 15 years later I'm looking to Gond another one and restore it. Can anyone lead me in the right direction? The usual venues of Craigslist and eBay are coming up empty... Thanks in advance!

Yup when looking for a certain brand/model/condition patience is key, it also helps to have all the "logistics" (coin) prepared so when you find the right one its a done deal.

Welcome to the forum. I know what you are trying to do. I am still hunting a couple farm tractors that my ancestors owned along the way, haven't found the real deal yet, but I have machines that are the same model. Something about that steel connection to your family, I can't really explain why its important but it sure is to me. .
