1050 Bolens

I got a 1050 bolens with a hydro trans. I am told bolens did not make a hydro. that they are manual trans. Is that true

1050's Did not have a Hydrostatic Transmission.......

As others have said the 1050 never came as a hydro, they were only gear drive. Most likely what happened is some one changed the original hood with one that came off of a 1050.
