HI
Add on KIJIJI of a bolens converted to Propane 16 hp brigs ohv. He's Asking $800 No mower deck or any attachments. Tractor looks to be in ok shape. Its been for sale several months. I'm thinking maybe $200.


Anybody have any thoughts.

I have a Bolens 1669 Hydro riding mower/tractor.hydrostatic transmission,has 16hp v-twin,OHV engine(480cc)converted to propane. has electric start,headlights work,runs excellent,includes propane tank that is on it and one spare.this is the same system as used on wharehouse forklifts.clean burning cheap to run.will need new rubber as these ones are crappy.lol. no longer have the mower deck part.bought it for motor and parts to make an awesome Go-Kart but changed plans and have diferent mower and sled motor now. want 800.bucks OBO!!! call or e-mail for more info.may trade or do partial trade for old dirtbike,quad,trike,etc...let me know I like old vehicle projects too cars or trucks.

Propane tanks= not as convenient as the old red plastic jug! I can see it if the tractor was used in a warehouse or as a fork lift etcbut otherwise it's not a plus for me.

I added some more info to the OP.

If anyone calls on this, be sure to get date codes and where they have to be filled (company that owns them) on the tanks. Replacing those because you can't get them refilled could be quite expensive.
There's a lot of torch tanks out there that are outdated, 'liberated' from the original owner, leased but the company is a long ways away, etc... I assume the same is true for this kind of tank. Just be aware is all.

I tried adding the photos etc.  Couldn't figure it out.  Thanks for doing that.

 

I'm not real excited about this unit.  Going to let it pass.  Been more interested if there had been some sort of attachments.
