Sorry to say, but snow is not happening here, and is not in the near future either.  The temps are milder, and the yard need some prep for re-seeding.  The heat and drought the past couple of years have done it in.  Soooo, I took the snow blade off my tractor,  hooked up the new to me food plot cultivator, set the depth to about 2 inches, and went to town.    Seat time!  I figured I can't made the yard any worse than already is....and if re discing and  reseeding is needed, well, then, more seat time!

Looks like it was a good reason to get some seat time. Thanks for the video. You're not missing much with the cold and snow, I'm ready for warm weather again.

Ummmm! MO is not that far south, why should it be warmer there?  Still winter isn't it?  I thought in beginning of post you were gonna be in FL or some place Way south!  You wait, couple days that big chill is supposed to go all the way to Gulf with cooler temps. Then see what you say!

If I said I was a little bit jealous it would be a lie! I'm a lot jealous. Looks like fun and a lot warmer there than here. That did a good job and the tractor looks like it handles gret. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the no snow.      Roger.

I got the cultivatin' on my back yard done today, and then I amended the soil with some lime...I needed a drag to level out what the cultivator did to the soil, so I made a home-made drag....I used a piece of rope, 3 pieces of rebar (what I already had in the shed), some tie-wire, and a tire chain for a garden tractor tire.

It worked great!

Well, you are right again, kris....I had to hook up the snowblade when I got home from work yesterday...had a inch of ice/sleet that was stuck like glue to the driveway to remove.....looked like you folks up north got most of that storm...and more yet to come on tuesday they say....pic and video is my son Joe on the 140, and my other son James with the snow shovel....
