Thank you, everyone!

I found out that the funeral will be Tuesday. I have a business trip I HAVE to go on next week, so I won't get to go to the funeral... BUT, at least two of my three brothers will be going to represent this part of the family. We'll be praying for their safe travel, as well as mine.

Thanks again to the wonderful people involved with this site!

Our Uncle's funerals are both today nra. Not to hijack your thread, but just seems fitting. My Uncle was 90 & a WWII vet, and retired from dairy farming about 30yrs ago after my Aunt passed. By the sound of things, our Uncles were VERY much alike, and great people. I have the honor of being pallbearer for my Uncle today.
Here is link to my Uncle's obit:

NRA....so sorry your work demanded you be away at the day of your Uncle's funeral, but if he could speak to you, he'd say not to worry.

Thanks, Daniel. Your words are definitely an encouragement. By the time you read this, you will have already been to your uncle's funeral. I'm glad you had the opportunity to be a pall bearer. I probably would have been for mine, if I could have been there. I haven't heard if my brothers might be doing that this morning, but I hope they do. I always count that as a tremendous honor to be asked to help lay a friend/relative to rest.

I hope everyone reading this has someone in their lives that means as much to them as our uncles have meant to us. Be sure to tell them what a blessing they are! I did, every chance I got!
