That is a stinger weight with collar for helping lift mid and front attachments on Simplicity built tractors. There was one for sale north of Hartford for $100 last fall. They can be a help. Good Luck, Rick

I have a couple of them and use them with the plow. There is an interesting pair of 700s for sale in N. Granby for $275 which is high unless the deal includes a pto vacuum that seems to be in one of the pics.

I seen the 700 pair early this winter, yes a little on the high side like everything on the east coast.

The weight you spoke of for $ 100 earlier this winter, i think this might be the one, i do recall seeing a orange weight sitting on a trailer.

The seller is asking $ 50 for this one, i know, again, on the high side, like everything here.

Actually a stinger with collar for $50 seems okay to me. They help lift and do add weight to the rear tires. They are getting hard to find. I would not part with mine.  Good Luck, Rick

That is good to know, weights has always been high, the last time the seller updated was 24 or so days ago so more then likely it is sold but a message has been left.

Stinger, i wonder if that is because it protrudes from the back of the tractor much like the stinger of a bee

$50 is a steal if it includes both weights. Better buy it or I will! The pair will ship together in one large usps flat rate box. I take no less than $85 for that same pair....makes it $100, shipped. I see them go for more, frequently. The douhnuts are pricey....stingers not so much, as they are now replicated by a couple folks.

The doughnuts have several applications for both large and small frame tractors.

Waiting on seller's response, it is friday afternoon, sometimes the best things in life are sent to you by friends, that is if the seller still has it.

What other applications is the doughnut used for ?

Been there, done that....you never know, a week and a half from now, he might find his lost cell phone, hear your message and it will be yours.  Never hurts to try.  It's not always a dead-beat CL seller.  Fingers crossed!

I am thinking of building one for my blower on a B 112. The pieces are easy enough. I am trying to decide if it is cheaper to have my welding supply cut 1" plate for weight or buy barbell weight off of Amazon with free shipping. Either route it looks like 100.00 to fabricate one new. That would be with about 60# of weight.

I was thinking of heading down the same path you are thinking, it was just shear luck my friend sent this to me, on a part of CL i rarely look at.

Contact has been made, date set for next week, the seller works weekends.
