does anyone know where i can find a new connecting rod or other parts for a 6hp Tecumseh that came off a Swisher big mow ?

I get most of my Tec parts through partstree.com  if they still have them. Getting hard to find engine parts for the old Tec motors.

Depends on the model, the 7hp is more common, the early ones used the same rod as the 6hp, just bigger bore.

The model no would be able to help, is it a HH or HM or H.

It is getting hard to find parts for the very old Lausons, but most Tecumseh parts are still available new, unless it is a very unusual piece.
