My wife always tells me I have no filter between my head and my mouth. Tonight is a perfect example.

I was sitting in the hot tub relaxing when a guy and his wife show up. He looks at me as he is getting in the pool and says "I don't know how you can get in that hot tub they are full of germs"

My response. "Well a lot less than that pool since I just pissed in it" I said this just as he was about chest deep in the water. He turns around grabs his wife and runs out of the pool room. In comes the afternoon clerk which knows me pretty well by now. She is red faced and laughing. "This very angry guy just came and demanded a refund because he said you peed in the pool"

She had to sit down in one of the chairs because she was laughing so hard.

She gave him the refund they left and about 30 minutes later she calls my room and said he came back wanting his room back because everyone is booked. She told him she couldn't rebook.

Now part of me feels bad. But the other part says he should of kept his mouth shut and not made stupid comments to me. My wife says I need a new filter and should feel bad.

I have had those filter moments also. Sometimes they are just to darn easy to pass up. Don't get to good a filter it could stifle your sense of humor.  Thanks. Roger.

One of my coworkers was never plumbed with a filter, therefore everyone knows what he is thinking, good and bad. After working around him for so long my filter developed a bypass route lol.

Sometimes people are just mean.  Sometimes it is innocent.  Sometimes it is hard to know which it is.  Today, I was talking to a female colleague when a mutual friend walk by and, in a super happy tone, said "Hi ho".  I said "That was rude!"  Neither of them got it.

That is funny. If a kid would say that, I would believe him. An adult, nah, he is just talking smack to get me out.
