He scoped it nine years ago for the pinched nerve.  This time he started with the scope, but opened it up for the repair.  Go back in two weeks for follow up.  ~~  Lowell

Sure would like to have some of that sleeping juice they give you to get through these winters around here.

Take a dose and wake up in the spring :D

Thanks for the comments guys!

Stitches came out today, it all looks good!  I had an appointment to see the surgeon yesterday 50 miles from home.  With the bad weather predicted, I had checked with our county health dept. earlier in the week & they could remove the sutures with Dr. orders.  Due to bad roads, I called the Hospital yesterday morning & emailed them a couple pictures of the shoulder.  They sent the orders to the health dept., so out they came this morning!  Started the "pendulum" movements today, see the surgeon in two weeks.  ~~  Lowell

Went to see the surgeon yesterday, first, in came a "resident" Dr., said I would need the sling/stabilizer another two weeks & he would be right back with a prescription for physical therapy, never saw him again. Then, after a while the surgeon came in, explained what he'd done & what to expect in healing (I hadn't seen him since before the surgery). He told me he wasn't ready for me to do therapy & that I don't need the sling all the time, but should wear it at night. I'll see him again in two weeks, meanwhile, I'm doing really well, a bit bored, but well! ~~ Lowell

Saw the surgeon today, everything is good!  No more sling/stabilizer, won't need to see him again, orders for 4 weeks of physical therapy.  I'll get with our local hospital tomorrow to schedule therapy.  ~~  Lowell
