Out here in the open 3 inches of snow can cause major drifting issues and 8-12 well that can cause issues with getting out of the drive let alone getting to town.

I think we have had only 2 snow falls worth plowing here and now head ache snow 1/4" to 1/2" every other day, just enought to make the roads slippery.

But man has it been cold -20 then toss in the wind chill.Maybe I'am just getting to old for winters.

I feel your pain!

We haven't had much snow here is the southern part of Indiana, but is sure is cold.

We got 1/2 to 3/4 inch of snow during the night, but the temp is now 9* with wind chill of below 0.

Hope you get rid of the snow before Feb 15-16......That is when I am coming to get the B-80 mowing deck!

It's been the same here on the east coast of Canada. Got another foot or so of snow yesterday and it was cold, with temps not coming up above about 15F and winds at 30-40mph. I waited as long as I could to blow out the driveway last night and it was still clear enough this AM for me to get out.

It's been a cold, white winter for sure.  I haven't seen grass since mid November...After our 'thaw' a week or two back, everything condensed down from around 30" to about 15" of concrete.  When I walk across the yard I sink in about 3".  With the freeze that is going now, we're actually north of all the bigger snows for a change, and Lake Michigan is seeing record setting ice cver, which cuts down on lake effect.

I get an inch or three off the Lake every other day, but nothing big in a while now.  Figures...I tugged that big ol 2-stage home in time for a week long repreve from the bigger snows.

Looking at NOAA, we are in a Winter Storm Warning today, with the never-ending Wind Chill Advisory for -20's.  Then, a Winter Storm Watch for tomorrow...6+" more might lure me out with the big blower if it's too much for the broom.  The temp forecast shows little relief...20 degrees with the passing snows tomorrow, then highs below 5 degrees again by Monday.

It's even cold down here with wind chill's getting near 0°F. Haven't had a lot of snow, though.

For us it might not be more snow but it seems to be cloudier and much colder then years past . I guess because it's colder the snow is very fluffy and easy to plow and shovel .   Still,, I want spring !!!

The last storm missed us on the west side of the state, but the cold sure hasn't.  -3 this morning here and at the in laws 100 miles north it is -16 with a wind to keep it interesting.  Going thru wood like it grows on trees :D and the poor ol' stove just can't keep up.  We need a warm up for sure.

Very little snow. Almost hard to justify the winter toys. It's colder than last few years, but not the coldest I've seen by any stretch.

VA doesn't enjoy this kind of balmy tropical weather.  I'm looking at a thermometer that is telling me outside is 7.  We have snow that probably isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

miserable !, sometimes don't you wish you could drive to and from with a wheeled Loader with the big snow thrower.

Remember having to wait hours for graders with a V-plow or Loaders with the snow thrower to punch a hole through the drifts so we could get to work or home.

Still have the photos of the snow removal crew someweres, just outside Mount Orab, Ohio.
