Probably  3 hrs. all together..... just wandering around the shop finding suitable material was the tough part !

Thanks for the compliments, I copied the hitch from the snowplow blade, the  biggest difference between home-made and factory is the U-shaped base piece from the factory was formed from a single piece, my small brake isn't stout enough to bend 3/16" plate so I cut two separate sides and welded them to a rectangle to form thebase plate. Which is probably better for me since getting the bends perfect so the hooks were equal would've been several trials and re-trials.  Now I just need to be patient until the weather warms up enough to finish off the mower and attach it all to the tractor.
