Seen this on ebay and its been driving me crazy not knowing which tractor this went on.

Supposedly its for a Kohler engine

Bolens part# 1732286

My attachment guide rules out any of the Frame Steer series,Small Frames, RER's , and any Tiller, Snowblower or other walkbehind/ Handheld equipment.

Its got to go on one of the 4 Wheel Tractors but which one???

You're certain it's not for a later model push mower?

I just ran the part number through ALL of the manuals I have on .pdf. Both styles of print (1732286 and 1732 286). The LT's, tube frames, Suburbans, Large frames, rearengine style and EK. Two snowblowers I have manuals for.

It's no where in any of those. May have to dig the web on this one.

Has anyone got a manual on FMC Bolens chain saws from the 1960's? I wonder.

Your not going to find anything on the Web..... (Already spent about 2 hours looking :D)

Its probably going to be from the mid 70's and up what ever it goes on.

Bolens saws are out of the question as they had a very short run and used mostly numbers starting with 170-

I'm hoping they did not throw a curve ball and superseded this.

This part number could be the "New" number and if that's the case all bets are off and it could be from anytime period!

I checked the "kohler" number as well but nothing.

Who knows if the seller is right though, it may not even be a kohler

Looking at the pics again he got the F2718 from the sticker which often times on Bolens parts, dealers put Bin number or pricing codes on them so I dont even think the F2718 means anything now.

This is driving me nuts!

We got to find out what this fits!

tried all of the mower/small engines parts places on the web that I could find that handles fmc bolens. No luck on any of them. Also found that Bolen quit making chainsaws in 1958.
