Weather Mans time Table was a little off yesterday wich worked out in my favour.

Left work at 4:30 and it was still 39 degrees. Got home around 5:15 and it was down to 34 degrees.

Bailey(son) pulled in about 6:00 with a  1980 Kawasaki 250 LTD (Mint with 4,000 miles on it) on my trailer.

Helped him unload it and put it in the shed and it was starting to sleet.

Shortly afte I got back to the house the wind started. Took the trash out about 7:00 and there was about 1/2 inch of snow on the drive(put the trash cans in the garage so I did not have to walk 1/2 mile across the neighbors field to find them). .  But the wind got insane and I think any snow I got never hit the ground again till somewhere around Quincy, Il. Drive was blown clear and froze dry this morning.

The only chore this blast brought on is my 8 ft windmill ran so fast I'm going to have to thaw out the grease gun  and give it a shot of grease.

My windmill could use a shot or two, also. May see 30 MPH winds again Thursday!

Supposed to be windy here today also. Yesterday it was 7* F when I was blowing the snow from the driveway. I had thought I would do the side yard today......well got up this morning and it was -20.8* F and that made up my mind for me. Not supposed to get to much more than 1* F today.    Stay safe and stay warm everyone.     Roger.

Cold and sunny here...was -1 when I got up and around, and warmed to around 10.  3-4" tonite...cold for the foreseeable future.

Ran the 2 stage a bit last nite to throw back some banks, while it was still 'warm' in the 20's.  The frozen banks sound like bricks going through that thing, but they come out looking like sand!

Your right Lyall, and there is not much to stop it between you place and mine even though they are about 25 miles apart.

I got a little seat time today. I pushed back the drifts so that the drifting snow piles where I want it. Now let the wind blow. :smilewink:  It will all go to the neighbors now. Now its supposed to drop down to about 0*F tonight.
