Dang good stuff. Found a bag of mix at the local farm store, Calhoun Bend Mill Peach Cobbler mix. Right next to it was a quart of blackberry's. Forget the peaches, this is way more yummy! Gonna have to get some more & more vanilla ice cream for topping it!

Did you bake it in an iron skillet? Great Grandma did and man it was good! Can't get it made the way she did it by anyone. Guess it was an old time receipe or something.

Sounds great Kenny, enjoy!!

No, I didn't Brian. Just used a 7 X 9 pan. May try that later. I will do it again, for sure.

Yes, there is some of that, Will. But I have been wanting some of this for a while. We used to get the Stilwell brand frozen ones, but haven't seen them for some time!

Terry and I had an inside joke going for years. She went to make one for me years ago. Somehow she messed the batter up and made a cake. Now that was good. Never could get her to do another though. Like to have gotten smacked with a skillet a few times prodding her about it.

Kenny, I used to like you until you started posting stuff like this.  You've ruined my suppers for a week now.

According to the heading I thought you ran your phone through the snow blower when I read it first!

But a berry cobbler sounds way to good right now.  Might just have to get the raspberries and mulberries out of the freezer soon!

Now that is comfort food!! Jo is diabetic so we have to watch her carb intake. Otherwise I would say once a week would not be too often for a berry cobbler.

Wow.  Now that's a great idea!  Made a few of those on boyscout campouts... {remember to line the dutch oven with tin foil...easy to clean up the mess that way)   One time I even went so far as to go to town to get vanilla ice cream to go with it.  Our troop was camping in a state park that weekend, and I stopped by the ranger's cabin on my way back to our camp  to let him know what was for dessert at our campsite....yea, he did stop by for a visit, and a bowl of dutch oven cobbler and ice cream!
