Engine #10 is a Briggs model Z instead of a 7. That 4 digit number may be older than 39. The brass Kingston was considered the high speed version. The pulley on it looks like Sears Handiman.

It was a Z. I just couldn't read my messy hand writing!

I would like to thank everyone for their comments and help/info! Finally got one picture of the other Panzer. I'm trying to figure out what model it is. I have the engine for it. Would like to get it in the building and install the engine to see if it runs. I plan on this being my first garden tractor project.

i am glad you were able to give those tractors a better home than i could have. i know that little green one with the cast front was the 1 you would do first. it was my favorite out of the bunch and the 1 i wanted to keep. i know with running my towing/ impound lots that i would not have time for them and am glad they found a good home were they are loved. and thanks for turning me on to this site i think i will find all the info i am looking for on how to get that 9hp duetz diesel in a tractor finally.
