We have weighed anchor, and are sitting in a Flying J just outside of Sharon, PA.

On the morrow we will be heading South with our destination being Mt. Solon VA.

I'll be 'visiting' the 1886FL, and dropping off a nice seat for it.

Been snowing on us a bit, and COLD, but, it should get much better as we wend our way South.

Final destination is 'somewhere in FL'.

I have Cape Coral plugged into the GPS, but that's subject to change.

We are looking for someplace WARM, and someplace with some nice fresh citrus.

More sometime tomorrow.

On the road again...sounds like fun.

I'll be flying out to Chicago tomorrow. Leaving sunny and fifty, to snowing in the teens. Enjoy the citrus!

On the way back, could you swing a bit farther west? I'm going to Gulf Shores, Alabama in March and need to know if I should tow an empty trailer 'just in case'.

TIA.

Just be careful with the HMS Rainmaker, as this time of year, it has been making a lot of snow and ice. This afternoon I took a couple steps outside I was less than thrilled about, and was required to stand back up because of them!!

Be safe out there.

Good to hear you've hit the road.

If you're headed to Cape Coral, you might as well hit the keys too. :D

Send sunny warm pictures when you can.

Safe drive.

I may actually do that, as I have family in the Biloxi MS area and we may pop over to give them a visit.

Linky no worky  :(

I wouldn't mind that, except we will most likely be back home by that time.

You can help me with something else though.

Where would be the best area in FL to fine some nice citrus? I would really like to find some nice, big navels.

Last time we were down FL (for the next to last shuttle launch) it was just after the citrus season was over.  We were really bummed, as the launch got postponed, and we couldn't stay for the rescheduled one, and the citrus season was over as well.  Not to mention we hit swarms of those danged love bugs  :D :D :D

Be nice to head some where warm. We are looking at single digits for the next week or so again! I hate it. I just want spring to come. It will be nice to relax in the sun.

We are sitting in a campground tonight, not too far from superaben's place.

Got the 'new' seat for the 1886FL delivered, and managed to visit it for a bit.

Ben is making great progress, and I'm looking forward to my NEXT trip down here when I pick it up.

The poor old Rainmaker is a MESS.  Almost totally encrusted on a layer of salt.  I drove through snow and salted roads all night last night and for a good portion of today.

I'll get some pics of it tomorrow.  I need a good rain storm to help get some of it cleaned off.

Barring that, I'm pretty sure that I will be able to find someplace in FL where I can get it washed.  It sorely needs it.

We decided to make it an early night as driving in all that snow, and trying to get to Ben's place before 4:30 had me all stressed out.

Tomorrow will be a lot better as we won't be on any sort of schedule, and can stop of go to wherever we want to.

Will post more tomorrow.
