Got some help with the motor mounts from a local welding/machine shop.  I figure a few bucks to support a local business is good thing.  He made the mounts of of some angle iron and will take care of the alleging and drilling mount holes for me. All worth $25 to me. They are ready and I can pick them up Monday.

Hey! Those new mounts look pretty massive, and should do the trick. I like the way you got a leaf in almost all the pictures.  :-)

Hey! Those new mounts look pretty massive, and should do the trick. I like the way you got a leaf in almost all the pictures.  :-)

 

Funny part about the leaves is that they are in the trunk of my car where the parts were when I took the pics.  :bigrofl:

Parts are coming together. I tried to forget how much the Kohler lump of cast iron weighs. I quickly remembers when I picked it up to move it.

I am working on a rear hydraulic set-up for the 312 that will be installed while it is being rebuild.  It should be here later this week.
