Like the title said I decided to sell two things from my Wheel Horse collection. First is my Wheel Horse sign that I got from a local dealer, I'm really sad that I'm selling this one. The second piece is my little B111 tractor. This was my first actual lawn and garden tractor and the start of what became my current collection. I'm sort of happy to see it go since I just don't have the time to do anything with it anymore. I haven't touched it in almost 2 years now. I didn't plan on selling the sign either but to be honest it has sat in my basement since I bought it. I know the new owner will enjoy it as much or more than I did. They are both going to a good home and a fellow Wheel Horse collector so that makes me happy. You may ask why I'm selling and that is because I have found a car that I want to buy and I need to start raising the funds to buy it.

Sad as it is, it is the start of a new phase in your life. Hopefully the car works out good for you.

Same program here sell something so I can finance another toy. Sometimes it is a good thing and then sometimes I wish I would have kept what was in the shed!

Good luck with the car project.

No pictures of the car yet. I haven't seen since before my dad past away a little over 7 years ago. Since then my step mom has had it in storage. The car is a 1983 Monte Carlo SS, and my dad wanted it to be mine one day.

It's not so much of a rare or valuable car. It has a lot sentimental value to me though so I will most likely buy it even if the price is too high.

Yes it has a 305, factory high output I believe, from what my dad told me this one was rare because 83 was the first year for that body style of the SS's and it's the blue exterior with the blue and white interior. He told me that white was the more common color option.

Those are nice cars. The majority of those were white with the different colar interior,ss decal and stripe package.I think all of them had the H.O. 5.0.I'm not positive on that though.I almost bought one of them also.I worked in an automotive detail shop iafter school when I was in high school. There was one of them that came in and they got it cheap and would've sold it to me for what they had in it but,i just started working and couldn't get the funds at the time. :mad2: Nice cars.Good luck in getting yours..

Matt, Sorry the sign wasn't for sale when I was there, it would have came home with me.  :D

As far as the 305 goes, we have had several new 80 model El Camino's and they all saw high milage with no issues. Good luck on getting the funds up for your Dad's car!!

Don't be too hard on yourself for selling you WH stuff. We have all had to at one time or another. SS Monte Carlos are pretty nice cars, and the fact it was your Dad"s make your choice even easier.
