I like your screen name..knucklebuster

My wife hung a sign in my pole-barn that says "The Busted Knuckle Garage" and that just about sums it up!

No longer  have the Huskee traded it for a 74 MTD 990, witch got crushed this year after a storm we had this spring. But these 39004 are many down this way.

Loss of 990!!! :(   Gonna part that out or no good stuff?   I once had an 8hp Sears for my first tractor that was Murray built, looks just like one of those. Was pretty heavy for only 8hp. Only had a 3 or 4spd axle, but did all I wanted with big blade on front and mower.  How about a picture if one of the 990. Let me know if parting. All this is IF you even still have of course! :D

Thanks for the welcome. After The 990 got crushed ,I traded (sorry) what was left along with another MTD GT for my first Murray 18/42. I now have two of them. I got the screen name from my oldest son , as I'm the family mechanic, and being from Maine. Everything is rusted. When I'd get a car or anything needin wrenchin, I'd say "that'll be a knuckle buster". I guess he liked the phrase always saying there's another knucklebuster. kind a stuck.

Does the 283 by chance reflect on wrenching on the small block Chevy ?
