I pickup up a SS 12 2 weeks ago and it runs great   almost broke me !!!!!  $75.00SS 12 01.JPG

That looks like a great condition tractor, any issues, missing stuff, etc? Did you get any attachments?

No deck or anything , does have the lift on back. I'm biding on a pto cover tomorrow. started taking apart to repaint.

I think you should let me keep it at my house. LOL.

 

I am just learning a family member a couple years ago had a ST16 in very nice shape. Another person borrowed it and the rear end got torn up and it ended up in the scrap yard. The good news is Dad did save the motor and the hood. I am looking to use the motor on one of my projects. We will see.

I did get this one a sears custom 10 on a deal when I bought 4 JD's back in august. he wanted 50.for it but I was bought 3 more than I planned on anyway. so I was leaving and he said throw it on for 40... I could not resist....lol

If you use that motor, make sure it is wired correcrtly. That would be a Tecumseh OH160 and the ignition switch grounds out the module. Wired wrong and you instantly burn up a $200 plus ignition module.

Well Got It All Painted. Only thing Left Is To Make A New Headlight Backing Plate Or Try And Repair The Old One.SS12 after.jpg
