Went to my local TSC yesterday to pick up the latest issue of Lawn & Garden Tractor magazine and spotted this on the clearance aisle, even though I normally just stick with the green stuff this was a deal I couldn't refuse.Actually I'm not a big die cast collector but if a piece catches my eye I will pick it up such as this one did.

I see them on epay as MM trucks, still Yellow! Have a couple diff sizes now. They print about any brand or item on those die-casts now days.  On the bigger items, the box part comes up each time. I don't like displaying them in a box, I want to look at all the little gadgets that can get broken off and want to "play" too. I have a big case to put them in, but then the dust gets there eventually. Never found anyone to tell me how to blow them off or clean yet. Most say brush carefully, but that doesn't get the deep down dirt off them. Think it would need an alcohol rinse or similar and that might not be good for decals and other things. I DO keep the boxes in the attic, taking up space and becoming fire fuel if it ever started! :smilewink:

glggrumpy,it looks like we have the same attitude about our die cast as I've got a number of nascar die cast out of the box and on display in my house with the boxes stored safely away. As far as cleaning them goes I'm open for suggestions as I've yet to find a good way to get them clean. Here's a pic of some more of my collection.cabinet.jpg
