Hi All,

My wife and I bought a 71 Chief 1200 last year (w/plow, snow-blower but no deck. It's been great. I have a gang reel mower that we can tow around, but (like everyone else) I'm looking for a deck for it. Haven't had luck yet finding the appropriate deck but saw a Simplicity 6211 on CL and was wondering if that deck would be compatible in any way. Any info would be appreciated, and thank you for everything I've learned from your forum! -C

Nice looking machine. I don't think the deck would fit witout a lot of fabrication to make it work. There are quite a few Jac guys on here that could probably answer your question. That frame for the cab looks great also. I have a 1200 Super Chief Hydro. I really like it. It is usually used as our showw blowing machine. Welcome to the forum and I am sure someone with more Jac knowledge will be along soon. Thanks. Roger.

There is a mower deck for sale on Ebay for $124.00 and it looks like the correct one for your tractor. Can't get the link to work. I believe it is through one of our site sponsors, Joes outdoor power. Good people to deal with. They are in Michigan.  Good luck. Roger.

Welcome to GTT. Relax and enjoy the site. You can download the manuals for your tractor from our manuals section. Notice that many Ford and Jac parts are interchangeable. Good Luck, Rick

Hi All, I just wanted to say a (very) belated Thank You for all of your help with this. I really appreciate it! I seem to be a little challenged with forums and tried writing a number of times but ended up deleting my written posts when attempting to attach photos. I'll get it right sooner or later. Thanks!-C
