My clutch pedal has alot of spring tension on it, is this normal? Thanks.

All vari-speeds I've driven require pretty decent pressure to push the pedal down.

Mine is so hard to push you feel like you are going to break the seat off its mounts. I prefer my hydro over the vari any day.

Mine was the same way, I actually bent the peddle, I put in 3 grease fittings in so it could be lubed, if you lube yours up with some grease you'll probably find it a lot easier, I did but still stiffer than a clutch on a tractor that doesn't have vari-drive on it.

Thanks for the answers guys, my daughter would like to drive it but she can't push the clutch pedal down!
