Nate, we all know this is not what you wanted but having your wife next to you will make everything go as expected,  If she is anywhere near your age she will be out an about in no time. Prayer to you and you wife.

Dick

Thanks everyone! Surgery went good and she's in ICU now. The only real issue now is trying to keep her blood pressure up like last time.

The nice thing about this time is that neither of us really had the fear we did last time. Its more of a feeling of not wanting to go through it all again. But the way I'm seeing things lately it can only get better.

Nate, what type valve did they use?

They used a tissue valve. If they used a mechanical valve she would have to be on blood thinner all the time which wouldn't be the best for her health situation.

Today has been a good day! No more IVs and she is out of ICU now. Compared to last time she's 2 days ahead of schedule. Which she and I are happy about. Just lots of pain yet but they said it would probably happen because its only been 5 weeks since the last surgery .
Thanks again everyone!
