I just wanted to share this picture that my brother took of our vintage chainsaw collection. The Homelites and Mccullochs are my brothers and the Bolens is mine. I think it's a cool picture of some massive old saws.

Nice collection !    There's a fellow at our local show who has a trailer display with saws on it you might like to see if you enjoy seeing others .

We have this eccentric guy in town who buys a complete line up of Stihl saws, the dealer topped them all off with gas and oil and delivered them and the guy makes him take them all back and exchange them for saws that were not topped off as he bought them for a collection.

My dad had an old Homelite i think was the brand. That thing had a motor and a half on it and had a bar that was extremely long and as someone stated above , when it was running, you had to put up the kids and elderly folks. It was extremely loud and you had be a man to run that beast. They don't make em like that any more.

Maybe this weekend i will ask if they have any old pictures of that machine. It would be a neat peice just to have it hanging it the garage for sentimental value.
