Hi guys

I had the   66 Chief 1000 that needed a belt guide and a head gasket.  I replaced the gasket and ran for 30min. Do I retorque the headbolts  after loosening like before ,or just check while tight?  Additionally. I made a belt guide out of angle iron.  The tranny stops now with the clutch in,much easier to shift!!!!! I appreciate the help.  Thanks much.
