My wife and I went to visit our son and his fiancee`  in Leander, TX, just outside of Austin.     I think we helped to releive  the drought down there, lol !  WOW !  I'm glad they did the driving around.  I'm not used to those high speed highways.  Nice country, though.  Really enjoyed stopping at Lake Travis.  We stopped there for a bite to eat at the Oasis.   So sad to see a lake that low, but I guess it's getting over populated there ??

High speed limits are always good!

I've always wanted to visit Texas.  I've heard its a nice place to visit, and take in the sights.

I must have a sickness.  I can't not read something then not read more about it.  Sounds like the droughts are bad.  The website list the lake at only 38% capacity.  Still hasn't hit the lowest its ever been, but seems like a large difference in the average historically.  Looks like a beautiful place

Only 30 miles from me and didn't even say hi. Next time you come down, let me know and I'll run up to meet you and the wife!!
