I have another question about the MF 14. Can you free wheel the hydrostat so it can be pushed by hand?

Yes, just shift the hi/lo lever into Neutral

There was once a fella who documented a tear-down and rebuild of one and has lots of pictures. He had some articles in the LAGT mag for several issues. There is a link to a site to see that procedure in order, can't recall where. Think there is a link on that Yahoo group I mentioned or contact LAGT mag........."Tractor Girl" ......here I think and ask for his name. Was very good article on the restoration and worth reading for anyone with a Massey.
